A central theme of these posts – all of the windows needed to be replaced. This house has big, beautiful windows that bring in an amazing amount of light. The windows were one of our favorite features of the house. Part of modernizing the house meant rebuilding the window openings in the rooms where the kitchens and baths were going to be located. The original windows went nearly to the floor, so we re-built them so that we could put the cabinetry under them. Before we removed the old ones, a little art was created.
